Student Injury Process

Overview

The District provides accident insurance at no cost to enrolled students who are injured during classroom activities or on campus. Coverage is provided through Convex Insurance, and claims are administered by Administrative Concepts, Inc. (ACI).

If you have been injured, please follow the instructions below:

• How to Navigate a Student Injury

View/download/print Medical ID Card ID Letter for Members (Convex)

• When you are injured, please print out the Student Insurance Card and take it with you to the emergency room or doctor. This step ensures you will not be turned away when seeking medical care.
• The most efficient way to file a claim is to open an account online: https://portal.acitpa.com/Convex 
• Once the claim has been received, a student insurance account manager will contact you.
• The risk management office is not involved in overseeing the processing of forms or medical care.
