The Peralta City College Community District collaborates closely with the colleges to cultivate a secure work environment by developing comprehensive emergency preparation plans for diverse situations. The District is dedicated to ensuring the safety of its employees, students, and visitors in the event of an emergency. Emergency. Emergency Flip Chart

Emergency Flipcharts are available at all PCCD campus locations and are located in all buildings and rooms on campus. The Emergency flipchart is available for online access. We address common emergency situations and instruct staff and students on how to proceed and expect in this situation. The district recommends reviewing this information prior to any emergency, utilizing it during an emergency, and after.

First Aid & AED

First Aid Kits

Each college campus provides various basic First Aid Kits at each campus. These kits focus on smaller incidents, such as Bandages and trauma care, tools, and equipment. The first aid kits and the district do not provide any over-the-counter drugs. For any severe injuries, please call 911.

Please utilize the “First Aid Refill Request form” to request supplies.

AED

Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for use across various campuses for the health & safety of our employees, students, and visitors.

AEDs are designed to analyze the heart rhythm and deliver an electric shock to victims of ventricular fibrillation and restore the rhythm to normal. Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anytime, anywhere, and at any age. An AED is an effective treatment for restoring a regular heart rhythm during sudden cardiac arrest
