ID Badge Request
The procedure for obtaining an ID badge has been changed to an online system. New and replacement employee badges should be requested by the departmental hiring managers, deans, presidents, and Vice Chancellors. Most requests will be processed in 3-5 business days. Employment verification for mortgage or loan companies, and that requires detailed salary information, may require more time for processing. Please consider this time frame when submitting your request.
Minimum Wage – Berkeley City College
Effective July 1, 2020, the minimum wage for the City of Berkeley increase to $16.07 per hour. Please note this change when initiating Electronic Personnel Action Forms (ePAF) for new Berkeley City College (BCC) student employees.
Oakland’s Minimum Wage
Effective January 1, 2021, Oakland’s minimum wage rate is $14.36 per hour. This minimum wage rate applies to the district office, Laney College and Merritt College.
