Minimum Wage Notice

Oakland Minimum Wage 2026

Effective January 1, 2026, Oakland’s minimum wage rate is $17.34 per hour.
This minimum wage rate applies to the district office, Laney College, and Merritt College.

Berkeley Minimum Wage 2025

Effective July 1, 2025, the minimum wage for the City of Berkeley increased to $19.18 per hour. Please ensure that the eFORM’s for these hourly, classified employees and student workers at Berkeley City College (BCC) reflect the correct pay rates.

Alameda Minimum Wage 2025
