The Peralta Community College District is committed to supporting employees during times when they need to be away from work due to personal, medical, or family-related reasons. This page provides an overview of available leave options, eligibility requirements, and the process for requesting a leave of absence.
Overview
A leave of absence may be paid or unpaid depending on the type of leave, your employee classification, and applicable laws or collective bargaining agreements. Some leaves provide job protection and continuation of benefits.
Because leave laws and eligibility can be complex, employees are strongly encouraged to contact Human Resources for guidance regarding their particular situation.
