Timely Warnings
The Peralta Community College District is committed to keeping students and employees informed of criminal activity or security threats that may impact campus safety. When a situation poses an ongoing threat, the District may issue a timely warning through email, flyers, bulletin notices, or other electronic communications to help ensure the campus community remains informed and prepared.
How Do Our Notification Systems Work?
Cloud-based notification system & Hard Wire Alerts
The PeraltaSafety App and emergency email, text, and speaker notifications are powered by Rave AppArmor and Valcom Technologies. Rave AppArmor supports the safety app, providing safety resources and incident reporting tools that route reports to the Department of Community Safety. When an emergency alert is issued, Valcom receives the alert and distributes notifications through overhead speakers, digital signage, text messages, audio announcements, and email.
