Open Enrollment 2024: May 6th – June 7th
Open enrollment is the annual opportunity for benefit-eligible employees/retirees to add or delete an eligible dependent and make plan changes. All changes are effective October 1, 2024.
*This open enrollment does not include part-time faculty or part-time hourly classified employees.
The Peralta Community College District proudly offers a competitive and comprehensive core of work-life benefits. Current benefits for full-time employees include:
(NEW) Annual FSA Healthcare, Dependent Daycare, and Commuter elections changed to this enrollment period for a new plan year October 1, through September 30.
- You must re-enroll in these programs each year via BenefitBridge.
- Medical, prescription drug, and vision coverage
- Delta Dental PPO dental coverage or United HealthCare DHMO dental coverage
- Basic Life and AD&D insurance of 150% of your annual pay up to a $100,000 maximum benefit (amounts over 50,000 are subject to imputed income per IRS requirement)
- Voya Voluntary Group Term Supplemental Life Insurance
- Long-term Disability coverage
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- Voluntary participation in a tax-deferred 403(b) and/or 457(b) plans

If you are currently enrolled in our group plans and do nothing, then your medical, dental, and vision plan enrollment will continue at your current coverage level and at the rates in effect on October 1, 2024. You must re-enroll in the FSA and Commuter plans each year.
