Peralta is seeking individuals to participate in our new Holistic Safety and Wellness Committee.

In June 2021, the Peralta Board of Trustees passed Resolution 20/21-33, renewing support of the Holistic Safety and Wellness of District Students. In Spring 2022, the Chancellor’s Working Group recommended the creation of a new committee to advise and inform decisions about campus safety, security, mental health, and wellness. During their meeting on March 25, 2022, the Participatory Governance Council (PGC) voted to create a new participatory governance committee for consultation on campus safety and security with representation from each college and collective-bargaining stakeholder group. This new Holistic Safety and Wellness Committee needs members. Please see the attached PDF for the list of committee membership roles.

Public safety, security, and wellness are critically important, and we would like to have this committee membership finalized and able to meet as soon as possible.
