Since our inception in 1971, the Peralta Colleges Foundation has enhanced the intellectual, cultural, and educational needs of our students, faculty and staff, by providing scholarships, supporting the professional development of faculty and staff, and fostering innovation in the educational programs.
The scholarships we fund are pivotal in creating meaningful opportunities for students of all ages, including helping undocumented, underprivileged and unhoused students achieve their dreams.

Application review period and process
Scholarship Application Review Period :
• November 15 - December 7
• March 1 - April 5
You’ll receive friendly reminders as we get closer to the review dates.
The review process is straightforward
• Create an online profile
• You will be assigned to a review committee
• Review 5 - 10 applications (Reviews take an average of 15 minutes each.)
• Review at Your Convenience - ANY TIME (day or night) during the review period
• Use the rubric to score the candidate responses
• Done!
