I have been at Peralta 15 years.  I am a faculty member at Berkeley City College.  The past two plus years I have had the privilege of being the district academic senate president.  In all that I have done in the district, I have always had a supportive group of colleagues with whom to work as we strive to provide our students with a quality education.  

 Joseph Bielanski

I have been a faculty member at the College of Alameda (COA) for 22 years and I coordinate the Computer Information Systems program.  I enjoy teaching at COA, in part, because of the diversity of our student population.  I feel fortunate to work with supportive managers as well as innovative and talented faculty and staff.  Lastly, I also currently serve as Co-chair of the Asian Pacific American Task Force, a committee that promotes and supports diversity  at Peralta.

I truly enjoy my work as the District's Coordinator of Marketing. I develop marketing plans and strategies to better serve our community, its students and our staff. After 14 years at the District (in the Marketing Department), I've seen the District and its four colleges grow, develop, and truly live up to its mission of affordable educational opportunities for the community we serve.

I have worked for the Peralta Community College District for over 30 years and currently serve as the Grounds Supervisor.  I take pride in the work I do  to improve the physical enviroment  for  our faculty, staff and students.
